Please note: From 15 March 2008 applications relating to businesses in the transferring Beaudesert Shire and Gold Coast City Council areas will pay the application fees set by their previous Councils until the new Logan City Council fees are set.

| Charitable organisation - recognised charitable organisations, churches, etc may apply in writing for consideration of a reduction in fees. The maximum reduction granted shall be 50% of the prescribed fees, at the discretion of Council. |
| Private schools - Council resolution 6/8/96 (Minute No. 311/96) - no fees apply (subject to change under Food Act Review). |
| Pro-rata fees - After 1 January and 1 April, pro-rata fees apply. |
Refunds - verified business closures may be considered for refund if applied in writing as follows:
- Between 1 July and 31 December - 50% refund licence and registration fees (less administrative charge to draw cheque)
- After 1 January - nil refund
