LOGAN CITY COUNCIL
ADOPTION OF AN AMENDMENT TO THE PLANNING SCHEME FOR THE CITY OF LOGAN
Notice is given under the Integrated Planning Act 1997 (Schedule 1) that Council adopted an amendment to Planning Scheme Policy No.5 (Infrastructure Contributions) which forms part of the Beaudesert Shire Planning Scheme 2007 as administered by Logan City Council.
The purpose and general effect of the proposed amendment is to:
- Update the infrastructure contributions rates for the water supply and sewerage networks.
- Amend the process for calculating the parks infrastructure network contribution rate.
- Provide exemptions from the infrastructure contribution for certain charities and not for profit organisations.
- Amend the timing for indexing the contribution rates from annual to quarterly indexation.
The planning scheme policy has effect on and from 10 October 2009.
