Council adopted its Integrated Local Transport Plan (ILTP) in June 1999. The ILTP is consistent with the State Government's Integrated Regional Transport Plan (IRTP) in calling for increased use of sustainable transport modes, including walking, cycling and public transport.
Council's ILTP establishes action programs for these modes and for the continuous upgrading of Logan's road network.
The ILTP also provides for land use planning measures to encourage use of public transport and cycling.
