Payment of fines
Fines are also known as Penalty Infringement Notices (PINs).
Council offers several methods of payment within the allowed payment period of the PIN:
- Paying in person with cash, cheque, money order, EFTPOS, Bankcard, MasterCard or Visa, at the Logan City Council Administration Centre, 150 Wembley Road, Logan Central.
- Mailing in a cheque, money order or credit card details addressed to Logan City Council PO Box 3226 LOGAN CITY DC QLD 4114.
- Paying over the phone to Council with a credit card.
- Council will consider payment by instalment for PINs where the penalty amount is more than $150.00, although conditions will apply. Once the Council application form is completed and returned to Council with an initial minimum payment of $60.00, Council is then able to submit the details to the State Penalties Enforcement Registry (SPER), who in turn contacts the applicant to arrange a payment plan.
