Jill Kinnear: Diaspora - textiles as paradox

The contemporary textile works of Jill Kinnear map the experience of migrant dislocation. This touring exhibition draws on the artist's personal experience of migration from Scotland to Australia and examines the role traditional Scottish textiles have played in the construction of Scottish identity and mythology. Diaspora is toured by the Toowoomba Regional Art Gallery.

Ralph Klewitz: World Signs
Inspired by the progressively globalised environment in which we live, Ralph Klewitz has developed a unique creative visual language which seeks to merge signs, symbols, letters and numbers into a comprehensive communication system. His artwork takes on a hybrid 'photo/graphic' form.

Sculptors Queensland: Construct, Contrive, Construe
Showcasing the creative talents of the members of the Sculptors Queensland Inc, this collaborative exhibition presents sculptural interpretations of the theme Construct, Contrive, Construe. From stone to found objects, the collection of three-dimensional work has been formed in a variety of media by these gifted individuals.

Logan Artists' Association: Water
Although water is a necessity of life it also plays a significant role in Australian culture. Members of the Logan Artist's Assocation explore their relationship with water through a range of media and styles from realism to abstraction.
