Emergency assistance

Emergency assistance reference guide

Logan City Council has produced an information card in the form of a fridge magnet, containing contact phone numbers for essential emergency / safety / crime prevention services in Logan.

The card has been translated into key ethnic languages.

Fire Safety

The "Fire Safety within the Home" program is to assist new Australian's in understanding fire safety.

The program provides information and training to small groups and families of Cultural and Linguistically Diverse Backgrounds (CALD) on what to do in a fire emergency in their homes.

Logan City Council and Logan TAFE are working in partnership with the Department of Emergency Services and PCYC to establish a biannual training program for newly arrived residents, schools and child care centres.
