New shops and extra parking have been approved by Logan City Council under a major redevelopment of the Logan Hyperdome Shopping Centre.
Approval has been granted to expand the shopping centre at Shailer Park from 104,965 square metres to 145,490 square metres.
The proposal involves the redevelopment of the home centre site to accommodate a new discount department store, a major retailer, retail showrooms and specialty shops.
It also makes provision for an extra 2,809 parking spaces.
