With the winter chill well and truly over and summer fast approaching, now is the time to get active and improve your health through Logan City Council's low-cost fitness program, Active Logan.
From tai chi to aqua aerobics, the program helps residents get fit without burning a hole in their wallets.
Health, Sport and Community Services Committee Chairperson, Councillor Phil Pidgeon (Division 9), said Active Logan was the ideal way for residents to fine tune their fitness and meet new friends while enjoying Logan's recreational spaces.
"Rather than sweating it out on your own, now is the perfect time exercise in the great outdoors and take advantage of the terrific local parks and facilities through Active Logan," he said.
"Most of Active Logan's activities are held outdoors and they won't cost you any more than $3, which is tremendous value."
Cr Pidgeon said variety of activities on offer through the Active Logan program would make getting fit fun and achievable for residents of all ages and fitness levels.
"People can get involved in everything from tai chi to aqua aerobics, so there really is a program to suit everyone's taste in the Active Logan program," he said.
"And with the festive season fast approaching, there's no better time to start getting our bodies more active."
