Here's your chance to learn more about water and energy, find some great bargains and possibly win a rainwater tank and it is all free at the Logan Entertainment Centre on Sunday 25 October.
During National Water Week, Logan City Council will host its second Water and Energy Expo at the Logan Entertainment Centre.
The expo promises something for everyone with 36 stalls ranging in interest from Green Sustainable Projects, home insulation, water grid models and energy audits to government rebates.
Also this year's Logan Garden Showcase - grow and show winners will be announced at the Expo.
Ranger Stacey from Channel 10's Totally Wild will be there to announce the Logan Schools Sustainability winners and to mingle with the kids.
Our very own Logan Youth Music Exchange and local schools will provide entertainment.
City Governance, Finance and Water Committee Chairperson, Councillor Luke Smith (Division 6), said the expo provided a great forum for people wanting to learn more about how they could reduce their environmental footprint.
"People can come along and learn more about which home appliances draw the most energy and how to reduce their energy usage," he said.
"There is also the opportunity to learn about our water grid and how we fit into that picture."
A 2000 litre Waterpoint Slimline Rainwater Tank is up for grabs and all you have to do is come along to the expo and complete a feedback form for your chance to win.
Feedback forms are only available at the 2009 Logan City Water & Energy Expo and the lucky winner will be drawn Thursday 29 October 2009.
