Residential parking permit
A residential parking permit is issued to persons who are required to park their vehicles in signed timed parking areas for longer than the allowed period. Examples would be volunteers at service clubs, libraries or residents who reside adjacent to schools. Download an Application for Residential Parking Permit (pdf).
Heavy vehicle parking
Relevant local law
Local Law No. 7 (Parking) includes specific restrictions for the parking of vehicles, such as signposted 'No Stopping' zones, and time-restricted parking. It is also prohibited to park a vehicle on a footway or nature strip, as this causes danger to pedestrians and other motorists, as well as potentially causing damage to footways. It also includes restrictions on the parking of heavy vehicles or trucks.
