Picnic tables, toilets, bbq’s, children’s playground, water, walk the dog (on a leash), birdwatching.

Take a walk inside Kimberley Forest Park and leave the city behind, as you discover the sights and sounds of more than 50 hectares of forest.

A visit to the park in the cool hours of the early mornings and evenings will reward you with sightings of swamp and red-necked wallabies grazing on the grassy slopes. The park’s rainforest gully provides a cool, moist environment with rock pools fed by permanent springs. Palms, ferns and rainforest trees thrive in the damp conditions.

The permanent water and diverse plant communities attract a variety of birds not usually found in Logan. Rainforest birds such as the noisy pitta and eastern yellow robin help make the numbers of birds that call this park home.
