Park rangers

Patrol team on trailbikes
Joint Police and Logan City Council Park Rangers patrol team.

Logan City Council employs Park Rangers who actively patrol Logan's network of parks, bushland and recreation areas in vehicles and on motorcycles. Park Rangers aim to create a safe environment for all park users by educating the public on the appropriate use of parks and enforcing Local Laws.

Logan City Council and Queensland Police have formed partnerships which includes Police trail bike riders and Park Rangers teaming up and patrolling parks to promote public safety and deal with the illegal use of motorcycles on Council's parklands.

These joint Police / Park Ranger trail bike patrols have proved to be an effective means of patrolling Logan's parks and getting the message across that illegal riders will not be tolerated.
