The Heart Foundation Walking program in Logan City provides a great opportunity to be regularly active in a social, fun and supportive way.
It's a great way to get to know your neighbours and your neighbourhood.
Heart Foundation Walking groups are led by walk organisers who set the route, days and times of the walks, and keep a record of who attends. The National Heart Foundation provides walk organisers with free training and merchandise as thanks for playing this role.
Walkers and walk organisers receive information about physical activity, a regular newsletter, and incentives (certificates and merchandise) to encourage them to stick with it.
There are many Heart Foundation Walking groups in Logan and we are always keen for more to start.
