Alert: The Beneath the Stars Foundation Songs of Hope and Joy Concert that was to be held at John Paul College on Sunday 31 August has been postponed until Sunday 30 November 2008. This decision has been made due to lead artist, Shannon Noll suffering from acute laryngitis. Existing ticketholders should retain their tickets for the new date. Additional tickets will be made available at a later date.
Council is proud to be a supporter of this great charity event which aims to raise money for the work of The Starlight Children's Foundation and Zoe's Place.
John Paul College, Daisy Hill Drive
Sunday 30 November 2008

Beneath the Stars Songs of Hope and Joy features Shannon Noll, Rikki-Lee, Scat, Peter Cupples and more.
It is dedicated to James Hempenstall, a young boy with a big heart who was diagnosed with a brain tumor when he was ten and lived a life that defied doctors' assessments. This event was his special way of giving back to the people who supported him.
Bookings for tickets, whilst free, are essential and can be made through Ticketmaster. Gold coin donations will be accepted and there will be raffles and auctions for prizes to raise money for these very worthwhile charities.
Please remember this is a non-smoking, alcohol-free family event. There will be no chair seating available, so bring your blankets and cushions. Where possible we encourage you to use public transport to avoid congestion in the local area. Further information on bus services dedicated to this event will be available soon. Gates open at 1 pm.
Donate at any time to The Starlight Children's Foundation and Zoe's Place, and if you would like to become a sponsor of the event contact Council on 3412 4481.
