31 days of things to do in Logan in May

Each year, in May, Logan hosts a multitude of events and activities for all ages. From art exhibitions and vintage cars to theatre and poetry in a pub, there's a cultural experience for everyone.

Some of the events from last year were:

  • Sculpture for an Ancient Land - sculpture symposium including workshops, presentations, a schools program and community events.

  • Talk 'n' Tea - learn tips on gifting, superannuation, deeming and income/assets from Financial Information Officer, Lyn Masters.

  • Mad Manga Drawing Workshops - with artist David Lovegrove. For ages 12+.

  • Poets in the Pub - be entertained by local poets who will perform original verse in a friendly and relaxed environment.

  • Kaleidoscope Street Markets - celebrate Logan's cultural diversity with cooking displays and entertainment throughout the morning.

  • GRrrrevillea Festival - presented by the Lions Club and proudly supported by the Logan City Council Events Grant Program.  Free entry, enjoy a carnival, live bands and dancing groups, stalls, fireworks, food and drinks available. All welcome.

  • Jazz and Shiraz - the annual twilight concert featuring entertainment by Mark Sholtez and Ingrid James.
