Logan City Council supports the proactive engagement, recognition and celebration of young people. This includes young people's unique needs, concerns and aspirations.
Logan has a relatively young population with young people aged between 12 and 25 representing 23% of Logan City's permanent population (based on 2001 ABS data).
In recognition of these factors, in February 2006, Logan City Council adopted the Young City Strategy 2006 - 2010, enhancing the opportunities, lifestyles and wellbeing of Logan Youth.
This strategy outlines the legislative, corporate and strategic context, development Logan's youth policy and strategy, vision and key action directions.
