The Survey Section is part of Logan Techservices, and carries out survey work required for Council projects. Most of its work concerns roadworks and drainage but surveys are also carried out for Council's Parks Branch, Logan Waste Services, Logan Water and City Standards Branch.
Council will replace boundary pegs that have been dislodged due to Council works. It does not carry out survey work unrelated to Council business for private individuals or companies. If you need to accurately know where the boundaries of your land are (e.g. you are building a fence), you will need to contact a consulting surveyor. It is suggested you find one in the Yellow Pages.
