If you are a community organisation or school and need to get a small group of people to an event or organise an outing then Council's community bus is available for these purposes.
This bus has a seating capacity of 20 people and is available to community organisations only and not available for private use. Boundaries do apply. Hiring fees are as follows:
- $23.00 per half day (up to four hours)
- $36.00 per day (7.30 am to 4.45 pm)
- $72.20 per weekend
- $0.30 per kilometre
- $100 pre-payment fuel bond (cost difference refunded upon return)
Please note:
- Driver rates are not included in the above fees.
- The bus must be refuelled before returning.
- There is no disabled access.
