The Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF)

Queensland Government Arts Queensland logoThe Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF) provides opportunities for artists and arts practitioners based in Logan to develop their careers through project based funding in the categories of:

  • Developing regional skills
  • Building community cultural capacity
  • Cultural tourism
  • Contemporary collections/stories
  • Regional partnerships
  • Concept development

The purpose of the RADF Program is to support professional and emerging professional artists and artsworkers to practise their art, for and with communities, resulting in mutual development of the professional artists / artsworkers and communities in Logan.

Arts professionals from all artforms including dance, music, design, museum and cultural heritage, new media, visual arts, writing and theatre are encouraged to apply.

RADF is not intended to be used as the main income source for any professional artist or artsworker or for recurrent funding of projects or organisations.

The Regional Arts Development Fund is a Queensland Government and Logan City Council partnership to support local arts and culture.

All applicants must have an ABN.

Logan City Community and Cultural Festivals and Events Grant Program

We support community-driven events through our Logan City Community and Cultural Festivals and Events Grant Program.

We invite submissions from community organisations and individuals to stage innovative, original, non-commercial events and festivals for the community of Logan that have social or economic benefits for the city.

We have supported 86 community events through the grant program including:

  • NAIDOC Week Celebrations
  • Kids Games
  • Queensland Masters Softball Tournament
  • Harmony Day Celebrations
  • Enjoying Life Ageing Well Expo
  • International Women's Day Celebrations
  • Purush - Youth Festival

Grant Writer Program

Our Grant Writer Program is available to non-profit community organisations and individuals that operate in Logan City or demonstrate that they provide services to residents of Logan City.

This program offers the opportunity to be referred to a professional grant writer who will provide guidance and educational assistance as you seek funding opportunities and develop your application.
