State Emergency Service
Under the requirements of the State Counter Disaster Organisation Act 1975, Logan City Council provides assistance to the volunteer members of the City of Logan State Emergency Service (SES).
Such support includes:
- provision of premises
- financial assistance for administration costs
- replacement and servicing of vehicles
- purchase of capital equipment items which are not available from state stores.
There are three SES Depots in Logan:
- Logan East (headquarters) - 26 Winnetts Road, Slacks Creek
- Logan Central - 3 Garfield Road, Woodridge
- Logan West - 3812 Mt Lindesay Highway, Park Ridge

Logan City Council would like to acknowledge the financial assistance of the Queensland Government through the Department of Emergency Services under the SES Subsidy Program in the acquisition of, and the replacement of, the SES operational motor vehicles.
