Businesses generating trade waste are charged in accordance with Logan Water's Trade Waste Policy (pdf 41kb).
Charges represent the cost to provide trade waste infrastructure such as sewer pipes, the cost to convey the waste through that system, and the cost to treat the waste at the Loganholme Water Pollution Control Centre.
When you apply to discharge trade waste into the sewer system, Council provides a category type classification, which determines the way in which those charges will be calculated.
