The Active Logan program is a great way to enjoy our parks and facilities, meet people, learn something new and improve your health. It is a low-cost program of activities for residents of all abilities and fitness levels.
Activities in the program include:
- Senior Strength - a friendly group training session for the over 50s;
- Aqua aerobics - a class in the water which is easier on your joints and muscles;
- Total Body Workout - a non-intimidating training program to improve strength, fitness and flexibility;
- Tai Chi - slow, gentle and tranquil movements to relax and de-stress; and
- Parents 'n' bubs fun - fun and games for children aged two to five years and their parents or carers.
- Yoga - gentle class suitable for all ages and levels of flexibility
The activities will be conducted in various parks and community centres across Logan. Participating in the activities costs between $1 and $3.
Each venue has an eight week block of activities and residents are encouraged to participate weekly.
