Council has a vigorous maintenance program as part of its commitment to enhancing the city image and providing a safe community. Activities included in this cyclic program include grass cutting, road sweeping, litter collection, herbicide application, bus shelter cleaning, gully pit maintenance, graffiti management, line marking, litter collection. The maintenance program also includes roads, footpaths, public toilets, and street lights.
