Logan City Council's Disaster Management unit continues to monitor the wet weather situation as heavy rainfall comes down the Queensland coast. A severe storm warning has also just been issued for the City of Logan.
This rainfall is expected to continue over the next few hours and there is potential for flash flooding to develop, as well as strong winds.
Residents should stay indoors if possible, and remember, if it's flooded, forget it! Never drive, walk or ride through flood waters and stay clear of creeks and storm drains.
