City of Logan Christmas Carols back by popular demand

The City of Logan Christmas Carols is back this year, so warm up your singing voice and get your picnic rugs ready for a free evening out under the stars with family and friends.

Acting Mayor Cherie Dalley said it will be a spectacular night for the community to come together and celebrate on 15 December.

“The City of Logan Christmas Carols has previously featured some big performers and this year is no different, with a stellar entertainment line-up featuring ARIA Award winner Samantha Jade, 2014 The Voice Kids winner Alexa Curtis, Craig Martin and his Swing Band, as well as community choirs,” Acting Mayor Dalley said.

City Image Chairperson, Councillor Laurie Smith, said the gang from the Nick Jr. show PAW Patrol will bring everybody’s favourite pups to the stage for a high-energy musical adventure starting at 5pm.

“The kids will enjoy meeting Nick Jr.’s PAW Patrol and of course, Santa and his helpers,” Cr Smith said.

“There will also be face painting, games and rides for the kids, as well as a variety of delicious food and drink options that can be purchased from popular food trucks.”

Gates will open at 4:30pm, with the fireworks display scheduled for 9:20pm. People who live locally are encouraged to travel on foot, get a lift or hop on the bus service to the campus.
