Community invited to connect at Yarrabilba and Logan Village

Join local musicians Junior and Mad Mike at a free family fun day to launch the City of Logan's program Connecting our communities: Yarrabilba and Logan Village.

Logan City Council’s Sport and Community Services Committee Chairperson Councillor Steve Swenson said there would be a range of free play and learn activities for all ages at Yarrabilba and Logan Village throughout April.

“We want the community to come along to the launch this Saturday (1 April) to St Clare’s Primary School in Combs St, Yarrabilba for a day of family fun,” Cr Swenson said.

“This day will run from 10am to 2pm and will kick off a month of great events sure to appeal to all the family. Bring a picnic, or there will be a variety of food available for purchase.

“Family history sessions, a mixed martial arts session, Polynesian crafts, kids’ days out and school holiday activities are among the activities planned.

“I encourage the community to join in all the fun.”

Connecting our Communities is supported by the Regional Arts Development Fund, a partnership between the Queensland Government and Logan City Council to support local arts and culture in regional Queensland, and First 5 Forever, an initiative of the Queensland Government and the State Library of Queensland.
