Logan City Council's commitment to customer service and marketing excellence has been acknowledged with three prestigious national awards.
Council has been recognised today as an ABA100 winner for the Australian Business Awards in the categories of Marketing Excellence, Innovation and Service Excellence.
City of Logan Mayor Pam Parker said the three prestigious national awards were testament to Council's efforts to promote the city and provide high quality customer service to residents.
"These awards recognise the dedication and hard work of our staff who go above and beyond for our residents, and help to build Logan's reputation as a great place to live and visit," she said.
"Logan is one of the fastest growing cities in Australia and as a Council we are dedicated to providing the best for our community in all areas.
"This includes promoting all that Logan has to offer and increasing visitation by showcasing all of the great things that are happening in the City of Logan."
Council's Customer Service Branch took out the Service Excellence category for its 'best value' initiatives while the Marketing and Community Engagement branch won the Excellence category for the City Pride campaign and the Innovation category for the Hidden Gems initiative.
Logan's City Pride campaign aims to create positive conversations and encourages locals to champion their city through a range of initiatives including an inspirational video set to the song 'I am Australian' featuring locations throughout the city and local people who generously donated their time to be involved.
The Logan Hidden Gems photography competition aimed to showcase the city through the eyes and camera lenses of local residents and visitors. More than 1000 entries were received and images were featured in a coffee table photo book and on banners throughout the city.
