Rainfall easing

With the rainfall easing overnight, indications from the Bureau of Meteorology are that the worst of the isolated instances of flash flooding in Logan are over.
Rainfall totals of 30mm to 90mm have been recorded across the Logan River catchment since 9am Saturday. Further showery rain is expected during Sunday morning.
Water at First Ave, Marsden, is receding (8.65m) while the upstream end of Logan River is experiencing moderate (Boonah) and minor (Round Mountain) flooding. However, the river level is not rising.
