John Williamson will be performing at the Logan Entertainment Centre next month.

Next month, one of Australia's iconic live performers will take to the stage at Logan Entertainment Centre.

Best known for his 1980s hit True Blue, John Williamson's impressive career spans more than 40 years and includes ARIA Awards, Golden Guitars and both platinum and gold albums.

He has won the heart of the nation and shows no signs of slowing down, unveiling his new songs from his latest album release, The Big Red last month.

Logan Entertainment Centre and Community Venues, Venue Manager, Andrew Bobeldyk said Logan residents would be some of the first to experience Williamson perform his latest songs.

"It's easy to understand why he is an Australian legend," he said.

"His songs are often referred to as the unofficial anthems of Australia and he has captured the spirit of the nation like no other.

"With over four million album sales and 24 Golden Guitars, Williamson has the ability to deliver unforgettable, live concert experiences and will certainly be a performance not to miss."

John Williamson will perform at the Logan Entertainment Centre on Friday 2 March from 8pm.

Tickets are $54 for adults, $52 for concession and $33 for children and can be purchased from the Logan Entertainment Centre box office by phone, 3412 5626 or online, www.logan.qld.gov.au/lec
