Eats & Beats returns to Underwood Park
Eats and Beats returns to Underwood Park on Friday, 28 July.

Families and food enthusiasts are in for a treat when Eats & Beats returns to Priestdale this month.

City Image Committee Chairperson Councillor Laurie Smith said the next Eats & Beats pop-up food truck extravaganza will be held from 5pm to 9pm on 28 July at Underwood Park, Underwood Road, Priestdale.

“Eats & Beats offers a fantastic way for people to begin their weekend and wind down with some great food and entertainment from across the world at South-East Queensland’s biggest monthly pop-up food truck festival,” Cr Smith said.

“With almost 40 food trucks and stalls, as well as an exciting line-up of bands and entertainment, Eats & Beats has something to delight everyone this month.”

Eats & Beats will welcome back regular food truck favourites including King of the Wings, Tender Calamari, Crunchy’s Waffles, Vida Vegetarian, and many more.

Hailey Calvert, Mark Lowndes, Jordan J Leigh and The Fergies will perform on the main stage from 5pm to 9pm, while Sparky Do Dah will be in the Kids’ Zone with lots of fun activities for the kids.

As with all Eats & Beats events, a traffic plan will be in place. People who live locally are encouraged to travel to Underwood Park on foot or get a lift to avoid any potential parking queues.

“Eats & Beats is a free event so we always recommend people get there early to beat the crowds and bring a picnic rug or chair, just in case there is a high demand for seating on the night,” Cr Smith added.

“We invite everyone in the community to attend and be part of this wonderful night.”
