Adoption of an amendment to the planning scheme for the City of Logan

Notice is given under the Integrated Planning Act 1997, schedule 1 that on 8 March 2011, Minute No 62/2011 Council adopted an amendment to Gold Coast Planning Scheme 2003 as administered by Logan City Council.

The purpose and general effect of the proposed amendments are to update various parts of the Planning Scheme and includes changes to Definitions, Domains, Local Area Plans, Codes and various Maps. The amendments are referred to as Amendment Package 5. The amendment will have effect on and from 26 March 2011.

A copy of the planning scheme amendment is available for inspection and purchase at the Logan City Council Customer Service Centres at Logan Central, Jimboomba and Beenleigh, or can be downloaded from Council's web site at www.logan.qld.gov.au.
