All About Irbyana

This event is designed for residents who live in the Jimboomba area and surrounds, and who may have Melaleuca irbyana growing on or near their properties. Session 1 Adult workshop: 8.45am for a 9am start. Morning tea at 10am. Please advise of any dietary requirements. This workshop includes presentations about irbyana in Logan, recovery efforts, living with irbyana, and advice on property management. Meet experts in the field and learn about the important role you can play in helping this endangered species. Session 2 Kid's BioBlitz activity for ages 10-16 years: 10.30am for an 11am start. Finishing at noon. This is a fun, outdoors, hands-on experience to help children discover the wonder of an irbyana community and to learn about this important plant. As this activity is outdoors, participants will be required to have covered shoes, hats, sun protection, and water bottles. Parents are encouraged to attend with their children.
