Logan Office of Economic DevelopmentThe Logan Office of Economic Development (LOED) was established in 1986 and aims to help businesses create jobs through investment in Logan. LOED's mission is to:

  • attract inward investment into Logan
  • retain and grow existing Logan business
  • support new business start-ups in Logan
  • market Logan City as an ideal investment and business location.

In order to achieve its mission and assist businesses, LOED offers the following services:

  • information gathering and dissemination
  • site selection and assessment assistance
  • direct facilitation for client businesses in the expansion or relocation processes
  • "after care" services to established businesses
  • direct involvement in community-based economic development projects and initiatives
  • promotion and marketing of Logan City as a desirable location
  • facilitation and access to grants and services provided by local, state and federal government departments.
