Hundreds join together for Welcome to Logan

Hundreds of people participated in the annual Welcome to Logan celebrations in Logan Central on Saturday, 25 October, to officially welcome new residents, including recently arrived humanitarian migrants.

The event started with the Access Walk Together along Wembley Service Road, with music, giant puppets, traditional dress and colourful flags, followed by Welcome to Logan celebrations at Harmony on Carmody in Carmody St, Logan Central.

Welcome to Logan was organised by Logan City Council in partnership with Access Community Services, Multilink, St Paul's School, Islamic Women's Association of Queensland, and Logan Community Hubs.
