Grant Assistance

Council provides a range of support to individuals and groups applying for Council grant programs.

Grant Information Sessions

Council offers two free grant information sessions where you can receive advice and tips on writing a winning application. See the below table for more information on the upcoming grant information sessions specific to the Community Project Grants and Working Together Grants.

The information sessions will include:

  • Information on the Community Project Grants and Working Together Grants including guidelines and criteria.
  • Information on Council’s expectations from each application.
  • Introduction to the SmartyGrants online system including how to create a log in and submit your application.

Bookings are required. To book your palce, please email your name, contact number, organisation, preferred workshop date and number of attendees, or call Council's Community Development Team on 3412 5856.

Council Grant Forum

In October and November 2017 Logan City Council held two Council Grant Forums.

Five Council officers from across five different grant and sponsorship programs spoke to attendees about:

  • Eligibility criteria & guidelines for different grants
  • Tips & tricks to writing a grant application
