Sport and Recreation Funding
Sporting clubs who are looking for funding are urged to contact their relevant Logan City Council Sport and Recreation Development Officer who will work with them in identifying their priorities and what funding options are available to them. Clubs are urged to complete and return their Club Development Plan templates provided by Council.
Council also offers assistance to eligible clubs through the Grant Writer program. This program provides a specialised consultant to work with clubs in preparing grant applications. For more information on this service please contact your Sport and Recreation Development Officer on 07 3412 3412.

Logan Sports Development Program
Logan residents will have more opportunities to enjoy sport and recreation in the city thanks to a partnership between Logan City Council and the Brisbane Lions AFC.
The new Logan Sports Development Program will involve the Brisbane Lions providing $75,000 annually to help make sport more accessible to local residents.
Council will assess applications for the Logan Sports Development Program twice a year, in February/March and August/September. Individuals can apply for up to $1,000 per year, while clubs can apply for up to $5,000 per year.
Eligible individuals can apply for:

- Equipment required for participation

Travel assistance grants are available to assist young sports people in meeting the costs associated with attending state, national or international competitions.
