Civic Solutions
Disability Services is a new disability service located in Berrinba (Logan City). We have a Life Skills centre which opened in November 2010, In Home Support Service, Centre Based Respite available for school holidays, and Afterneoon centre based respite from 3.00 pm - 6.00 pm.

Heads Up Services
Heads Up is a mental health early intervention service for young people aged 15-25 living in the Logan-Beenleigh area. The program is available for up to 3 months for young people who may be experiencing the early signs of a mental health illness.

Disability, Sexuality and Gender Identity Discussion
Open Doors Youth Service Inc is holding a discussion session in Brisbane for anyone interested in positively discussing good practices that support and engage LGBT young people with a disability. Young people with a disability, their families and carers, service providers, advocates, academics and other committed individuals are welcome. National Disability Coordination Office
We help people with a disability to link with Disability Employment Services, TAFE, University, Traineeships and Apprenticeships. We work with students at schools to make their transition as smoothly as possible.
On our NDCO Queensland website we have publications that have no copyright and so that you can download this information for your own benefit. My age range is 15 to 65 and this can be with mental and physical disabilities. There are 35 NDCO officers throughout Australia to help people with a disability. This service is free to everybody. Beenleigh Carer Support Group
Beenleigh Carer Support Group is a group of Carers from the Beenleigh area that meet with the support of Carers Queensland. They hold informal talks to help each other and have talks by Service Providers and also have social outings.

- When: 4th Thursday of the month
- Time: 10 am - 12 noon.

Children with Autism
Playconnect is a playgroup for under sixes with ADS or ADS behaviours and is held every Tuesday from 9.30 am to 11.30 am at Beenleigh PCYC, Alamein Street. There is no need for a referral or diagnosis and siblings are welcome. This is a free service provided by the Australian Government under the Helping Children with Autism package. Reclink
Reclink is a charitable organisation whose mission is to provide sporting, social and arts activities to enhance the lives of people experiencing disadvantage. Reclink is delighted to announce the second season of our League Tag Competition designed for people who are experiencing disadvantage in their lives.
Funding from Queensland Health and the support of Community and the Mental Illness Fellowship of Queensland has allowed Reclink to commit to this second season of what will become an annual league.
There will be two teams of 10 one for north and one team for the south. There will be training and development day in June and July and will be an 8 week sesson.

The Accessibility Centre located at Logan North Library provides equipement and resources for people with vision, hearing, intellectual and mobility disabilities. Features include:
- Height adjustable desks
- Telephone typewriter
- Special needs softerware including Zoomtext
- Boardmaker and Kurzweil 3000 screen reader
- 5 PCs with adaptive keyboards and trackball mouse
- Programs to assist with literacy, numeracy and life skills and much more.
