Council releases Draft Logan: City of Choice Action Plan

Logan City Council has endorsed the Logan: City of Choice Draft Two-Year Action Plan (PDF 2569 KB).

The draft document outlines the key findings and outcomes from the Logan: City of Choice Summit held in February.

Council will now undertake engagement with key stakeholders from the State and Federal governments to seek their support and commitment to the action plan.

Council has also endorsed the establishment of a governance structure for implementing the action plan.

The governance structure will consist of a leadership team including the Prime Minister or delegate, the Premier or delegate, the Mayor or delegate, four community members to be selected through an expression of interest process, and three subject matter nominees. The first responsibility of the leadership team will be to finalise the action plan and establish working groups to implement the actions from the plan.
