Community Week of Action
The final Community Week of Action for 2017 was held during the week of 26 – 29 September 2017 with a variety of community safety and crime prevention activities delivered throughout divisions 7, 8, 9 & 11. In total, four Community Week of Action events were held throughout 2017, covering all 12 Council divisions.
Council worked closely with QPS and community organisations to plan activities for each Community Week of Action to ensure that each initiative delivered addresses important community safety issues in that area. By continuing to work with our partners, Council will be able to positively spread the message about crime prevention and proactive approaches to personal and community safety.
A new strategic approach to delivering community-based crime prevention and community safety activities in 2018 will see even more activites on offer throughout the year, with increased opportunities for the community to take an active role in building a safer City of Logan.
