About Browns Plains SmartTiP
Modern landfills such as Browns Plains SmartTiP are far more complicated than a simple hole in the ground in which waste is buried. Even before the first piece of waste was disposed of at the SmartTiP, there had been millions of dollars spent on planning, designing and constructing a highly specialised, safe and environmentally responsible landfill.
