Pet Education Sessions

Logan City Council has announced dates for its 2017 Pet Education Sessions which are free to Logan residents.

Claire Bickle will return again this year with her Chick Chat informing residents how to get started with keeping backyard chickens including housing, feeding, breed types, egg production, fox proof fencing, council regulations and much more.

Claire has over 20 years of 'egg-perience' keeping and breeding all types of poultry. She writes articles for Earth garden magazine and has a regular segment on 612ABC – Chook Talkback.

Our signature sessions, cat and dog behaviour, barking, dog body language/dog park manners sessions are also back by popular demand.

Enrichment is an important part of training your pet. Different types of enrichment will be demonstrated during each session. You will be able to purchase KONG enrichment toys during and after each session.

Bookings are essential. Phone 3412 5397 or email amc@logan.qld.gov.au to reserve your seat. These are information sessions only. Please do not bring your pet along. Refreshments will be served and a lucky door prizes will be drawn at each event.

Each session is packed full of useful tips and techniques. Attendance is highly recommended, take a sneak peak here:
