Wednesday 25 October 2017, 4pm to 7pm
Facilitated by QAGOMA Learning staff, the round table discussion seeks, to strengthen state-wide advocacy for arts education, and identify research opportunities to evidence innovation.
As an initiative aligned to life-long learning programs, this two-part workshop; (8 hour practical program for students) and 3 hours discussion program for arts practitioners and educators, is designed to create constructive dialogue between educators, arts workers, and artists. The arts educators / arts practitioner’s round table/workshop will explore four areas of practice, Arts Learning, Cultural Learning, Digital Learning and Arts and Wellbeing to capture a point-in-time evaluation of successes, challenges, and aspirations at play across participating regional communities. The project aims to engage the diverse expertise of arts educators through focusing on current practice and to collectively prepare for shifts in local, state, and national learning landscapes.
