Old Beenleigh Town
Old Beenleigh Town is located 189 Main Street, Beenleigh and has over 20 buildings on site with historical significance. They include the original church, school, boot-makers shop, railway station, post office, jail, council chambers, and several old cottages.
The village's homes are museums within themselves, with old furniture and equipment on display. A 12 minute movie is shown in the old movie theatre about the Settlers of the Sugar Fields and how local cotton, sugar and rum industries were established.
The Town is open daily from 9.30 am to 3.30 pm. Entry is $6 for adults, $4 with concession and $2.50 for children.
