Well Made Endorsement

Well Made Endorsement is designed to offer applicants a more efficient and streamlined development assessment (DA) process by ensuring development applications are 'properly made' and 'well made' before lodgement with Council.

There are two forms of Well Made Endorsement:

• Accredited Consultant Endorsement (25% discount up to a maximum of $25,000.); and
• Applicant Endorsement (15% refund up to a maximum of $5,000).

Note(s):

1. The Well Made Endorsement Application forms MUST be submitted with the application to qualify for a discount or refund in accordance with the fees and charges schedule. Discounts or refunds will not be granted for any application that is not accompanied by the Well Made Endorsement Application forms upon lodgement.
2. Where the Development Manager has approved a reduced application fee, a Well Made fee reduction may not apply.
3. RiskSmart applications cannot be a Well Made application as the processing, assessment of, and application fee for those applications are dealt with separately in the Schedule of Fees and Charges.

Properly Made Endorsement

In order for an application to be Well Made it must be Properly Made. If an application is not Properly Made it will not be eligible for Well Made.

The relevant Integrated Development Assessment System (IDAS) forms must be completed and all mandatory supporting information provided. Council has a Properly Made Information Checklist (PDF 463 KB) which you can use to determine what Council requires in order for an application to be Properly Made.

Note: No old forms will be accepted for Well Made applications after 1 December 2011.

As of 1 December 2011, Council will be undertaking a Pilot Program for Accredited Consultants over a 12 month period. The Accredited Consultants are listed below:
