Closed Roads

As a result of the heavy rainfall, a number of local roads have been affected by localised flooding.

Although Council aims to have up to date information, that is not always possible.  The nature of our road drainage system is that when the ground is saturated and there are isolated short heavy downfalls, roads can be inundated for short periods of time.  Our staff do their best to display and remove warning signs in a timely manner.  You may come across water over the road without warning, so always drive to the conditions, cautiously, and if it is flooded, forget it.

Residents can report local road maintenance issues to Council by emailing roadmaintenance@logan.qld.gov.au, which is monitored between 6.00am and 5.00pm on work days, or call 3412 3412 if the matter is an emergency which needs to be dealt with after hours.

Updates will be provided on road closures when available.

Current road conditions as of 04 Apr 2013 10:33am.
