Declared Roads

Logan City has many declared roads within its city bounds that Council is not responsible for upgrading or maintaining. The following declared roads are the responsibility of the Department of Transport and Main Roads:

  • Beaudesert-Beenleigh Road
  • Beenleigh Connection Road (Logan Street from City Road to Boundary Street, Boundary Street, Hammel Street, Milne Street, Main Street (Energex sub-station to Rochester Drive))
  • Beenleigh - Redland Bay Road
  • Brisbane-Beenleigh Road (George Street (from Distillery Road to Logan River Road), Logan River Road, Albert Street, Kingston Road, Logan Road)
  • Camp Cable Road
  • Carter Road Service Road
  • Cooreen Road Service Road
  • Granger/Stoney Camp Road Roundabouts
  • Kensington Road Service Road
  • Kingston-Beenleigh Road
  • Kingston Road
  • Logan Motorway
  • Logan Road
  • M1 Overpass (Exit 35)
  • Mount Cotton Road
  • Mount Lindesay Highway
  • Pacific Highway (M1)
  • Pacific Highway Connection Road (Logan Road)
  • Paradise Road
  • Springwood Connection Road (Paradise Road, Wembley Road (from Kingston Road to M1 Motorway))
  • Waterford-Tamborine Road (Albert Street, Nerang Street)
  • Wembley Road

Council also has many roads that are adjoining with other local authorities that Council is not responsible for upgrading or maintaining. While staff at Council are willing to talk to you about these roads and pass requests onto these relevant authorities, Council is not responsible for addressing such issues.
