Cultural Diversity

Since Logan City's inception the local community has grown, not only in numbers, but also in diversity. Our city life has been enriched by the traditions, languages, food and lifestyle influences from many lands.

Our community is indeed fortunate to have a wide range of beliefs, tastes and arts to enrich our social fabric. More importantly there is a strong sense of welcoming to all those various backgrounds and the contribution they make to our society.

There is a clearly observable absence of tension amongst the different nationalities and cultures in Logan, and a sense of support, interaction and cooperation that really highlights Logan as an illustration of the success of multiculturalism as a way of life in suburban Australia.
