About Cr Lutton
Cr Russell Lutton is the city's longest-serving Councillor after first being elected in 1985.
Before becoming a full-time Councillor, he worked for Queensland Rail and was Woodridge Station Master.
Cr Lutton was Deputy Mayor from 2008 to 2016 and has served on every standing Council committee, including six years as chairperson of the Town Planning and Environment Committee and four years as chair of the Development and Environment Committee.
He says the diversity of those who live in Logan and the way the community comes together in times of adversity are the city's best attributes. He became a councillor to help people in the community and make a difference.
Cr Lutton is a father of three and has lived in Woodridge since 1982. He has an active interest in all sports.
