Eats and Beats goes big at the Logan Hyperdome

The Logan Hyperdome is the next “pop up venue” for Logan’s food truck and live music festival Eats and Beats this Friday night.

The event continues to grow in stature as a people are drawn by the growing diversity of foods, great music and relaxed atmosphere and the Hyperdome event will be no different.

City of Logan Mayor, Luke Smith, said the free monthly event, had become a ritual for many families and was also drawing visitors from Brisbane and the northern Gold Coast.

“The Logan Hyperdome never fails to attract a passing crowd and this is an ideal opportunity for families heading for the Gold Coast or Brisbane for the weekend to have some food and fun along the way,” he said.

“It’s a great way to relax and unwind for parents and it solves the problem of where to go for dinner once you get to your destination – or how to give the family a fun night out for the cost of a takeaway.”

Repeat visitors to the event don’t have to worry about slipping into a rut. There’s always something new and different at each venue as well as your favourites.

Some of the food trucks making an appearance at the Hyperdome include: The Greek Street Grill, Sate House catering, Indian Bites, Authentic Turkish Gozleme, Dan’s Dim Sim Kitchen, Churros and Chocolate, Gourmet Tokyo, Mangia Mangia Italian Street Goods and The Dog House German sausages.
