Have your say on safety in Logan

Logan City Council’s annual Safe City Logan community survey is now open.
The Safe City Logan community survey allows residents to share what they think and how they feel about different areas of safety and crime in their neighbourhoods and in the City of Logan.
City Lifestyle and Community Committee Chairperson, Councillor Steve Swenson, said Council uses the survey results to identify future priority initiatives, events and activities to help make the City of Logan’s neighbourhoods more welcoming, inclusive and safe.
“The community members’ feedback and responses to the survey will help us to better understand if we are achieving the desired outcomes set out in the City of Logan Safe City Strategy and Action Plan 2016-2020,” Cr Swenson said.
The Safe City Strategy and Action Plan 2016-2020 outlines Council’s approach to delivering a broad range of crime prevention and community safety initiatives that aim to enhance City of Logan residents’ quality of life.
“The feedback that residents provide in the short survey will also help us gauge what we’re doing well and identify areas where we can improve the way we communicate crime prevention topics to the community,” Cr Swenson added.
Community members have until September 30 to complete the survey and opt in to enter a draw to win one of three $100 gift cards.
